Tevii yeah  you're right after reading the source story. Episodes 8-9 will actually serve as the origin story according to deadline so that's very cool. I was thinking it would be more of just having Allen appear in some innocuous small role with no meat but that appears not to be the case.

Should be a ton of fun

Yes, great idea, I was thinking the same thing, maybe Jay Garrick in this universe was an actor, who portrayed the Golden Age version of the Flash on an in continuity TV show and Barry Allen was a huge fan of the show as a kid...

I would love to see Shipp in that classic Garrick costume, Helmet and all...

 I have never seen an ep of Arrow but fully intend to watch The Flash. Just sayin'.

If OWN got it, it would create interest in the network for me.  Hope this is better than last tv series.

 I liked the flash series in the 90s (that suit was awesome) and i plan to give this a try but I have never watched the Arrow but may give it a look on netflix.
