VARIETY reports that Darren Aronofsky, who directed
PI, is looking to direct an adaptation of Theodore Roszak's 1991 novel
FLICKERS. Jim Uhls is considering doing the adaptation.
The novel's plot centers on a film student who becomes convinced that B movies are evidence of a catastrophic, world-ending plot against all life on Earth.
