Sony UK Releasing has posted a new clip from M. Night Shyamalan’s After Earth. Here we see that Kitai (Jaden Smith) isn’t experienced enough to listen to his father (Will Smith).

The Plot: A crash landing leaves teenager Kitai Raige (Jaden Smith) and his legendary father Cypher (Will Smith) stranded on Earth, 1,000 years after cataclysmic events forced humanity's escape. With Cypher critically injured, Kitai must embark on a perilous journey to signal for help, facing uncharted terrain, evolved animal species that now rule the planet, and an unstoppable alien creature that escaped during the crash. Father and son must learn to work together and trust one another if they want any chance of returning home.

After Earth crashes into theaters June 7, 2013.

I'm not having a good feeling about this...

Why?  I would think crap like that would happen if someone crashed in the rain forest right now.

At least the parts not being cut or burned down

Uhmmmm, no. Sorry, but no. I thought it looked bad before....this clip was affirmation of that feeling! Go away, Will, and take that no-acting "child" with ya!

The Tyler Perry crowd are going to eat this stanky crap up just  like they did for the Karatay' Kidd. Sony knows exactly what they are doing. Why it's almost genius.

... And no, I am not, but I love to be blunt and insensitive at times.

"Welcome to Erff!"

For some reason I WANT to like this.... Or I feel like I should. But it is simply missing something.... Plus it feels so much like Oblivion or Elysium to me, but the "asylum pictures" version

That's just sloppy writing and directing. So, he's tracking one lifeform approaching...but he doesn't spot or alert the kid to the other twenty that pop up 15 seconds later?

I have no faith in this movie, and it will not be receiving any of my wonga.
