Seagal for Expendables 3

If the part fits...

Empire Online is reporting that Steven Seagal may be in Expendables 3. It seems as if writer and star Sylvester Stallone is tweeting the prospect. What is interesting is that this time around Stallone confirms Wesley Snipes involvement with Expendables 3. Stallone, the Mad Tweeter, also has stated that Mickey Rourke is returning.

Stallone has said, "Talked to Wesley today... he cannot wait to fight to the top again!". Then he said, "Mighty Mickey is back..." It appears that Stallone is also looking for a "a young Sigourney Weaver..."

The Official Seagal Tweet: "Just talked to Steven in Moscow*... Sounds great and says he wants to be in EX3, if the part fits".

Do we need Seagal in Expendables 3? Shouldn’t we save someone for Expendables 4?

Glad to hear Mickey is coming back and that Snipes will be in there also...Seagal would be fun too...only missing Gibson and it would be a cool line-up.

What's Seagal going to do, sit on people?  The guy has been eating way too many doughnuts these days.  I've heard he's a world class A-hole who has severely injured many stuntmen while on set; many intentionally.  Could care less if he's part of this project.  I'm glad Wesley Snipes is back; his over the top acting is perfect for this type of a movie.

LOL... our wishes are coming true. I can see Seagal as the next main villain like JCVD, who did a good job btw. I think they should kill off Randy Couture... he is definitely Expendable.

This is unbelievable! I had read on various sites from the time this franchise started that this would never happen. As those have noted, Steven Seagal has left a bad taste in the mouth of alot who have worked with him, specifaclly other martial artists. Norris and Van Damme have said they will not work with him. He and Couture have a big animosity between them. They even had a challenge out to each other. Couture wanted to fight publically but Seagal wanted to do it behind closed doors. Some producers don't like him either. He seems to have a kind of Holier-Than-Thou about himself and his place in the world. Deservedly or not.

Maybe these conflicts have been resolved. I don't know.

And don't put down Seagal over his weight or age. Many real life martial artists don't look like movie star heroes but they have exceptional skills.

If I could see Seagal, Couture, Snipes, Chan, and Li all on the screen together I would have a chi-powered kung fu orgasm that would shake the pillars of Heaven!

I heard rumors that Seagal has a Cameo in this taking place in a Dinner where he's using Aikido to break Chicken Legs/Wngs and Lobster Claws or something! I hope it's true cause I would love to See Seagal go up against a Lobster Aikido style!

actually i could see snipes as the villian and segal as someone on ah-nold's team..also put carl weathers and jessie ventura on ah-nold's team and have snipes pissing them both off.

im sure Segal will screw it up somehow... But if not they should seize the moment while they can. They might not convince him again for part 4.

besides there are plenty left. Thomas Ian Griffith, Mark Decascos, Jeff Speakman... Plus newer guys like Manu Bennett, maybe Jason Momoa would wanna try again after Bullet to the Head. Or even George St. Pierre since he's taking a stab at acting

monkey foot- I've heard all of that except the Couture thing. Interesting..... But at the end of the day, money always talks.

It sure is good to see the old foks getting out and having some fun.

BTW - Let bring back Liam "Billy the Kid" Hemsworth back!

The firs time around, it was like big fun. The second, not too much (maybe because Sly did not direct it?).

I thought that Norris Character was just useless and did not fit in the the story at all, it was just for people to say: "look, here's Chuck! Also some one liners of Arnold ans Willis were pretty lame.

The 3rd one will suck for sure even if the fat Steven's in it.
