Forever comes to ABC Fall of 2014.

I’ve never understood why they show TV show teasers in front of movies. I know the movie houses get money from the studios to advertise them, but wouldn’t the theaters want you to come out to their multiplex instead of staying home? Well it was before Dawn of the Planet of the Apes that I saw the TV trailer for Forever. There is a first look, the first video, and a full trailer posted below. It looks as if it could be interesting.

Synopsis: Doctor Henry Morgan (Ioan Gruffudd), New York City's star medical examiner, has a secret.  He doesn't just study the dead to solve criminal cases, he does it to solve the mystery that has eluded him for 200 years—the answer to his own inexplicable immortality.  This long life has given Henry remarkable observation skills which impresses his new partner Detective Jo Martinez (Alana De La Garza).  Each week, a new case and their budding friendship will reveal layers of Henry's long and colorful past.  Only his best friend and confidant, Abe (Judd Hirsch) knows Henry's secret.

Forever features Ioan Gruffudd as Henry, Alana De La Garza as Det. Jo Martinez, Barbara Eve Harris as Lt.  Marcia Roark, Donnie Keshawarz as Detective Hanson, Joel David Moore as Lucas, and Judd Hirsch as Abe.

Forever will air on Tuesday this Fall on ABC

Um, because they know people can't be at the movies forever?

Great cast, but I don't see this lasting that long.

Being a big fan of the Highlander TV series I always love immortal characters. This looks like they are making it kind of smiliar to shows like Elementary and Castle: crime solving procedural with quirky mysterously male detective partnered with stern no nonsense beautiful partner flirting as they solve mysteries. I'll be watching.
