Awesome pic, obviously. Cool design, great texture on the costume, and absolutely jaw-dropping fantastic energy effects. Those are really awesome... I love the shadows (?) caused by his fingers... great touch. Gotta say though, he looks sort of... bored. Placid. That's IMO the problem with using Daz characters for base images, there's little range of expression. Oh, and is it just me, or is this guy sort of hunchbacked?

This is my favourite manip of the update! It's awesome the way you use photoshop like the rest of us (i speak for myself) and et you get results i could never dream of achiving!

I have many heroes here on DCG and you, sir, are trully one of them!

Alltough i'm 28, i need to say: "when i grow up, i wonna be like you!"

I am not that familiar with Ultimates characters but the lighting and feeling of raw power the energy spheres give off in this pic are truly awesome. I agree with Atomic Man, I use Photoshop as well but can never achieve such startling effects. Keep em coming!

Not exactly your best piece, I'm afraid to say. I think it's becuase his skin looks a bit...plastic. However, it is still an awesome picture (far better than anything I could do).

killer lighting. i love the lighting from his powers....it really helps knock that suit out of the ballpark. perfect costume....i mean perfect. i like the power effect, but i could see it getting more crackly and energy like....maybe throw a dodge on some portions. great stuff as always.

First, bear in mind that any criticism I might give is probably a byproduct of my envy of your better version of Poser than mine  I think the pose is a bit awkward and since the light of the energy spheres extend well around his hands, we shouldn't see shadows on the back of his fingers. Having said that, this is a truly stunning piece. You manage to maintain a seamless consistency with a high level of detail. IMO, Marvel should be pounding on your door, begging you to work for them!!

Oh my gawd - It's Ethan Hawke.
Seriously, the face of 'James Hi-res' looks a lot like the actor's mug in this pic. But that's irrelevent. It's a great pic as has already been said, and although the energy effects stand out as one of its coolest facets, I like how the effect is reflected off his costume.
By the way, I don't know Marvel very well - and I know next to nothing about 'Marvel Ultimates' so my comments for this theme day are almost entirely based on the art without any context.
