what nothing on this one yet? i'm on a c2f mini-vacation...but you guys are always kind to help me in my works...so i have to comment.
it's a neat mix of styles. there is an obvious difference in approaches....but i really don't look at it that way, i see them as single pieces.
i really have to say, i love the emotion on batman's face. i really like the bulkiness in batman, great large torso....well done. i think bats could be darker....but that's just me...i can't recall an image i've done in the last year that was well lit. great stuff.
axe guy....cool. the pose works for me...the overly pinkish/brown skin tone to me doesn't. i think cooling/desaturating the skin down would really help the look, as well as some blending on the muscle lines. it just screams poser....which is one of the reasons i don't like poser. with all of that negative....i really have to say it's a cool piece. the costume looks well done...the straps....i probably would have shot myself trying to get those to look convincing...and you nailed them. nice stainless steel take on the axe....reminds me of a large surgical tool. nice work.
all in all, a great piece of work...thanks for the great work guys.

Great Pic! I love the jam approach of mixed styles. Cool perspective and great sense of tension. A very stylized and unique look for bats too. I could probably go on and on about why I love this pic so much but, well, you get the idea!
