I think this greatly improves the mood and feel. IMO, you could probably crop out the dark left and right sides of the image to give it a tighter focus. Nice job!

You've certainly improved the lighting directly on Joker, but the new background has less of an institutional feel to me. Le P's suggestion of cropping is a good one as the large swaths of black do little to add to the overall composition. I think a tighter shot would allow you to go larger and really show off the menace of Joker's expression.

Thank you both for the input. I will give it a try, but won't re-re-submit it for "re-run's" sake....unless it dramatically looks better and I can't stand it. Again...thanks; which only shows I should spend just a little more time on them.
