thats pretty good, you sure you've never EVER taken a art class cause you have pretty good skills, everything seems symmetrical and the proportions are good your shading is pretty much correct. i like it. i also like batman alot so i'm very happy with your choice of character.
kudos.

Well I can't say NEVER anymore cause as I said in the art notes I am in one now, but before that I was self taught. Thanks for the comments.

That art class is paying off! Your stuff was pretty good before but this is better. Check out Fanboy & Dave's stuff for some good shading lessons.

And alot of other artists. I've found myself paying even more attention to the art in the comics I buy.

yes, comics are deff good for reference for anatomy or shading, another thing go look at a swimsuit magazine or a body builder magazine there both great for anatomical reference.

You are definately improving man. Keep up the excellent work.
Definately pay attention to the techniques of your favorite artists for extra lessons.

Thanks guys.
I think the head is a bit too big for the body, it makes his proportions look as if he's about 5'5" or something. . . i would say check out a book called "DYNAMIC ANATOMY" by Burne Hogarth.
