I think the flat colors kinda work here and give it a certain style... it sorta reminds me of 3D comics - the way you get seperate but flat layers. Pretty cool.

Excellent work man. The Joker is really-well characterised. Great eyes and expression. Effective pose and background too.
The colours are flat - but that does all fit a toonier style, but personally I would add a darker tone (depicting shadow) on at least his face and perhaps his hair. looks cool as is though anyway.
I particularly like the perspective on the hammer and the blood splatters.
