Nice to see we've loosened up and become more understanding.

I've had my hands full lately trying to get traffic into our forums. We now have the forums link above everything else on the main site and we link to forums at the bottom of every article. Karl's going one step further and linking reviews to actual review threads in our forums. Basically, I'm sorta busy right now trying to get some interesting conversations going. New people will join if we as a community have interesting things to talk about so I'm trying to keep that going right now and other stuff.

I've asked mods a while back to come up with good titles when someone makes a request here but that's pretty much been ignored by the old title creators.

New titles should drop out of the sky onto Maniacs unawares, as if God himself decided to play a little joke.

I know nothing about NIN, but Jake's request leads to the obvious label of "would like to **** you like an animal." I suppose you could put "hump" for "****."

Now if you used that, it wouldn't be as funny, because everyone saw the process. Bestowing titles is like making sausage, you don't want to see it happen.

That's not going to happen unless I go into the individual codes to change around permissions, Negs. I'm not doing that for something like custom user titles. It's just not worth it.

With Vb software, only admins and webmasters can go into other people's information if they request it to change passwords, emails, user information. Vb designed it this way because too many webmasters in the past was reporting rogue mods on their sites who locked out people they didn't like, destroy accounts on a whim, etc.

As I wrote in that suggestion in Mod Hell a few months back...we can call it something like the High Council of Custom Title Creators(or better)...and people would know that it's the mods telling the suggestions of custom titles behind closed doors.I'll just be the one copying and pasting that title onto the user's information page. LOL Let them guess which mod thought up which title just like the old days.
