All you got to do is register at www.graphicmouse.com and enter the Mega Draw/Off. For those who don't know, this contest is now in it's permanent home at GraphicMouse. The rules for the contest are located in the forums as well as what the theme is for the first Mega Draw/Off contest. So what are you waiting for? Go check out the site, register and start drawing.

The prize is actually a gift card to Wal-Mart, so you can use it to buy whatever you want. If you don't have a Wal-Mart where you live, no worries, we will figure out another alternative for your prize should you win.

I know the many talented artists here at C2F are busy, if my memory serves me correctly Temporal Dave is the only one from C2F to enter the draw/off contests. I encourage all of you pencilers to join in and have some fun with this contest.

Hope to see y'all there.

Just wondering if anyone is at all interested in this? I realize that there is a similar contest at HM, so then enter both. I am not competing with HM for participants. Or maybe the contest theme ain't your thing...well, if you win it, then you choose the next contest theme. There are so many great pencilers here at C2F. TemporalDave has given us some great work and I hope to see more from him, but he isn't the only one.

C2F has some great artists and it's a shame to just post at one site....damn, sounds like I'm begging don't it? Ok, so I'm begging.

I'm not sure if I have any ideas for the current contest, but it's for all ages now so I may join up eventually. And $25 is nice too.

Maybe try editing your title to say something about a drawing contest...when I first saw the title of the thread I was like "goddamn spam!!"

It was only when I clicked and read the post that I saw it was a genuine art contest.

Ok, thanks WWG for the advice. I changed the title. Sorry for any confusion, I didn't think about people spamming sites.

Sorry dude. I've been a little distracted lately with work, etc.
I'd be hell keen to participate in your cool contest again. And the moolah only sweetens the deal!
I'll head back over to GraphicMouse soon.
And I'd also like to encourage any of the DCG's skilled pencillers to participate too - 'cuz it's cool!

Thanks Dave, I appreciated the endorsement and hearing that you are still interested. I wish more people were as enthusiastic as you are. Hope to see your work soon!!

Hey Force, you know that I have already entered, the second after you and the only one eligible for a while until recently. Anyway, since I joined all of these sites I have been somewhat active at C2F here, Bold, Heromorph, and Graphic Mouse! (A lot to handle I know, that's why I'm a sporadic visitor and particpant at best, busy schedule gets in the way too, but by no means do I not fully support each and every one of these sites!) :D Plus, while there are many of you that are strictly hardcore for one or the other, I know that there are some of you here that are like me and float around from one to one on a regular basis. Graphic Mouse is the newest one to get off the ground and might seem like more of the same, but it shouldn't be ignored. Let's show some support and start posting some stuff alright. The way I see it is the more exposure our talent gets the better! 8)

Divine Monkey won the first contest. He declined to take the cash prize, thus the prize for this one is up to $50 bucks. The theme that the Swedish Monkey chose was to create Dr. Doom. Not re-invent or update but act like it's 1962, Stan has dropped by to ask you, Steve Ditko, to come up with this evil villain to battle the FF. Forget all you know about Doom, how he looks, his background, everything. You are Ditko, it's 1962 and you are creating a villain named Doom.

Anyway, check out www.graphicmouse.com for the rules and other info about the contest. I wish all you pencilers and non-pencilers would just give it a try. If it ain't your kinda thing, no worries. Besides, you get a shot at $50.

Keep rocking C2fer's

Yeah, I forgot to say that... I won, I won, I won!!! :D
And I have to say, the idea for this new contest is sooo cool. Re-make Dr.Doom! C'mon...you know you want to. Who ever came up with that one is a genius.
