Almost everyone here knows the general rules of posting at c2f. Many of you are longstanding members and all of you as a whole, we consider everyone valuable contributors, and we do NOT condone censorship of any kind, including certain sets of opinions. This is message boards, where we express opinions, and those in the minority are just as welcome as those in the majority.

However you will notice we do not have 'flame wars' and the huge mess of nastiness that can be found on many or even most message boards, especially on a site this large. We don't have that here because we have these rules and ask/expect that they be followed. For clarification, here are those rules:

1. Please do not start a new thread for each bit of news or review or mag opinion o the film. We have a thread for General Reviews, post reviews there. We have threads existing on marketing, trailers, etc. IF some earth shattering news is released and someone feels it warrants its own topic (Routh has full frontal nudity shot in film! Superman Returns Release date pushed way back!) then feel free to do so. We will not have threads started for every negative or positive review; in some kind of I told you so war. So please, post in the appropriate topic from now on, or your topic will be deleted. To all our law abiding types, please just ignore these types of threads until they can be dealt with and continue posting in the correct threads.

2. We have three Moderators in this forum, clearly stated at the top of the forum, and several Administrators. When any of the above tells you go get back on topic, clean up your act, watch your language, or any kind of direct order, you will comply on the boards. Mucking up the boards with a bunch of Mod/Admin attacking will not be tolerated. However, that does not mean you can not speak up if you feel something is unfair. If you feel a Moderator is being unfair, email that Mod and state your case. We'll try to work it out. If you can not, then either you or the Mod can bring it to the attention of an Administrator and we will again try to resolve the situation.

In general, there is three strike mentality, which can, and has been stretched. If you are warned twice and flagrantly disregard authority here, you will be called on it. If you persist, you will be banned from the site.

I'd also like to take this time to remind everyone that we'd all appreciate warnings for spoiler material, and 'adult' material, preferably in the title of the thread. Being off topic is generally discouraged, but it happens, to the all of us, due to the nature of conversation. We let it slide quite a bit but when told to get back on topic, please do so immediately. You can always continue conversations through PM or if there is a vast amount of interest, you can open a new thread on it.

If anyone has problems or would like to discuss recent events here, please PM me or email me at Rhonda@comics2film.com.

In closing, there is a fine line between healthy debate, and well worded (or not) flaming or baiting. Healthy debate, with all levels of intensity, is totally allowed. Any kind of flaming is not, however 'well' disguised. There are many groups here; those who are excited and looking forward to the movie, those who hate it already (like I myself was with Catwoman, for example), and those who are on the fence or weren't interested but are finding themselves getting interested now. What's important is what we all have in common and what we should appreciate is that we fanboys and girls can come here and discuss this with people who share a love of or at least care about comic book characters and hence, their adaptations to film.

All in all, it's a beautiful thing we have here, and we just ask that few simple rules be followed, so that it can remain such a wonderful, open venue for discussion.

Thank You,
