[Asonokirk V 2.0]

Has anyone here ever posted at the Yahoo news message boards? If so, is it just me, or do some of the posts just scare the living sh*t out of you? It is hard to imagine there are people out there who either think like some of these posters, or that there are people out there receiving some kind of gratification from making posts that any reasonable person would consider psychotic, irrational, and worse?

yeah check out some of the comments on Fark some time. I really think some people just get off taking the most extreme, out-in-left-field viewpoints.

That makes me feel better and is what I was thinking: That people don't really have the opinion they're posting, they are just being outrageous for the sake of that. They may have a poor excuse for a sense of humor, but at least that is their motivation rather than something worse.
