Daily Horoscope - Taurus - 5/6/2006
There are exceptionally high energy levels in your creativity -- make the most of it! Integrate color, music and unusual shapes into your day to open up your mind -- complex, conceptual ideas are suddenly crystal clear, so if you've been waiting for the right time to sell an idea or convince someone to change their mind, today is the day to make it happen. It will be an immensely satisfying day overall -- you will go to bed knowing you did everything as well as you could.
Hope it's a great day!!

Happy Birthday Trazalca! Don't do anything the Tycoon wouldn't do. Or would do, for that matter.

Thanks everyone! :D :D
I had a good birthday this weekend.
I'm now 38, and fighting like mad to stave off the midlife crisis crap.
Just 2 years away from hitting 40... ugh. :ohwell:
Here's the list o'schwag I've been blessed to receive from loved ones:
1 Nike XXL t-shirt
1 black dress shirt with white stripes down one side - VERY cool.
1 white t-shirt with US Postal service logo on it (my Dad retired from USPS last week)
1 red shirt with the logo emblazoned in black letters "World's Greatest DAD"
(and my fear is that if I wear that shirt, and I do something really dumb
as a Dad in public, the irony of the moment would just about kill me.)
3 DVDs: King Kong (2-disc); Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children (2-disc);
Narnia (2-disc).
And my mom cooked up a turkey, stuffing and fixin's for me and the fam. :smirk: Overall, it's been a BUSY weekend. :jump2: :jump:

Happy Belated, Traz.
Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
always remember
I'm older than you.
Really, 40 is the new 30 so don't fret yourself about being 2 years away. For me, 36 was really worse, because then you're officially in your mid- or late-thirties and miles away from your twenties and any chance of being cool. Turning 40 was like, eh, so I'm forty ... but I'm a damn fine 40, aren't y'all impressed?
Besides, all those kids will keep you young ... you've got years of fart jokes still ahead of you! Hope you had a fine day.

I thought 50 was the new 30?
Really, my mom looks better now at almost 48 than she did at 35. Plus, her clothes are way better, and I can tell you, clothes and hair can age you, or they can make you look younger, slimmer, and a hell of a lot sexier. I think dealing with my sister and me as teenagers was probably part of the problem. We made her feel old, I'm sure, so us growing up was like finding the fountain of youth again.
