Spoiler policy

Per a discussion we're having in another thread, here's what we're doing:

1) We know that newbies show up as the movie release gets closer, newbies are less likely to have heard gossip and rumors, and are also less likely to have read the novel.

2) We also know that some people stay away from message boards to avoid spoilers.

We don't want to accidentally spoil things for newbies, AND we don't want our friends to leave. SO we're going to be super careful about spoilers.


If you want to open an entire thread to discuss spoilers, put it in the subject header. Also put it in the first line of the post in case someone is really not paying attention.
If you want to discuss a spoiler inside a non-spoiler thread, use the spoiler tag. Put the word "spoiler" inside [square brackets] and then toggle it off with "/spoiler" inside [more square brackets].
You can flag a NOVEL spoiler (i.e. something that happened in the novel that we presume will happen in the movie) with the NOVEL label. (In text, I don't have special code for that!)
