I know I can't be the only one around here that uses one of these. Discuss them, rate them, complain about them etc....
I have Music Match. It's.... okay. At first it was this whole new world of music at my finger tips & I was naively excited about the possibilities. When I first started using the program you could listen to their Internet Radio for an unlimited time, now you can only listen for an hour. I have a paid subscription, so that's neither here nor there for me anymore.
I've experienced a lot of problems with the software becoming corrupted & from the google searches I've done several people have experienced the same issues. Still, I stick with it because of its On Demand service. With On Demand I can listen to virtually whatever I want whenever I want. Of course, it all depends on the artist, there are some that don't permit their tracks to be used for On Demand listening. The service allows me to save my favorite tracks in my music library & create playlists out of them. Also, I can mix On Demand tracks with mp3 files on my computer to create playlists.
Recently Music Match added an mp3 player feature that allows you to organize the music on your portable device through Music Match. I have yet to use this feature because I organize my Zen through my Creative Software.
That being said, lately I've had a few problems with their On Demand service. Some tracks that should load don't & some playlists just disappear off my playlist manager or don't work when I log in on a different computer.
Music Match's tech support is terrible, btw.
Which brings me to part of the reason why I started this thread. When MM works, it's fabulous & I adore it. But lately, it's been annoying, so if anyone can tell me about another service that has all of the above mentioned things without the problems, let me know.
