Awesome! I REALLY like this one, you Kevhawkster person, you. One of your best, and I'd definitely say all that Poser training paid off. Very cool, dynamic composition... one of the most actiony action scenes this challenge has given us. Cool background elements, I love the easter eggs. Nice manipping too. DD's boots are particularly nice, whatever arcane combination of Poser, morphing and repainting you used turned out well. Nice power effects on Abby, I like the texture he's absorbing from the pipe. Overall, like I said, a great piece of work. My only real concern with it is the lighting; it's very flat and bright. A night scene with moodier and more interesting lighting would IMO have been just that little bit cooler.

Firstly, those are by far the most extensive art notes I've ever seen! This is a beautiful piece. The scope and scale of what you've done here are amazing. One is immediately struck by the central action of the scene but there's a whole lot more going on. One could spend a very long time looking at this and still finding new things. I really do think this is a beautiful piece. Great job once again, Hawk. I'm probably way overthinking these poses but it seems to me, given Abs pose and the way the column is exploding that Abs would have to be swinging the ball from somewhere over his right shoulder which would place Spiderman's left leg in the path. Also Spiderman is jumping toward the pole and spinning a web at it while it is coming toward him which would seem to be an ineffective defensive technique. I may be reading this wrong though and if so, I apologize. No matter how you look at it though, this is still a masterpiece.

i mean c'mon....it's absorbing man....his name alone tells you his power.

very cool stuff man. kick ass wrecking ball and damage! i was surprised you went so Poser on me, but seeing your advancement in that program lately i can see why you went that route. original choice of characters, can't say i remember him fighting spiderman or daredevil (i always remember absorbing man in the hulk comics).

i see some of LP's points...but i see him jumping off of the pole from the impact point and webbing as he crosses left to right, or using it as a fulcrum to swing under and on top of absorbing man. i agree with b's comments...a night time scene with some moon light and city lighting offers up some interesting lighting possibilities. i feel the lighting here is very desert....bright and hot.

cool scene...very complex...very huge....easily a panel in any book.

OK, I see it now (and I feel a little dumb for not getting it right away). Thanks, Dan. Please ignore the previous idiotic parts of my commentary. Panel in a book? More like a book in a panel!! There's a whole story in there. :)
