I loved this movie when I saw it in theaters. I have the 2-Disc edition pre-ordered on amazon. Daniel Craig is in it, with long 70's style hair. This movie has one of the most suspenseful sequences I've ever seen. The telephone bomb It's a really great espionage thriller, with a deep message to it. I've heard it described as "Mission: Impossible" for adults. Gotta agree with that.

I thought it was a very good movie. I didn't love Bana's performance, and it dragged at the end, but it was very powerful.

Thought it was excellent. I agree that it does go on about 20 minutes too long. Directors have a lot of trouble editing their movies lately.
I have heard it suggested that this is a result of digital film-making. Directors aren't as selective with their scenes as they used to be.
I'll say this as spoiler-free as I can... the 2nd love-making scene between Bana and his wife is embarrassingly bad.

Oh come on! Bana shags his wife, not once, but TWICE??
Jeez.... thanks for spoiling the surprise!! No point in seeing it NOW!!

I thought that second lovemaking scene was very powerful and kind of interesting.
I've heard this about digital editing too; specifically that there's a new (circa 1998, actually) editing machine that makes every frame look so gorgeous that it's just harder to cut.
But Munich takes a page from LOTR: ROK and ends about five times.

I may be the only one, but I didn't mind the endings of ROTK, and also really like the last 20 mins of Munich.

It looked to me like Speilberg just didn't know how to end it and I agree that it dragged on too long.
The sex with Bana and his wife was gratuitous IMO.

Yeah everybody I know was in agreement about that scene.
BUT, it's important to note that Spielberg and Michael Kahn do not edit digitally. Kahn is about the only editor left in Hollywood who does things entirely old school, cutting and taping it together. To do a three hour movie like that seems unreal to me. I think another month editing would have made this film pretty perfect. But alas, we're left with a terrific movie all the same.
