This is a pretty simple piece, but it works. I totally agree on this idea for the costume. I've heard rumors they may do something like this, add a layer of fabric. I sure hope they're true.

this is an excellent piece... i ve seen a lot of good batman renderings and i have to say this is one of the best ive seen. cinematicly it translates to the big screen. i can see bale wearing this type of uniform and not look ridiculous.

Awesome pic, man! Even though I like the idea of the bullet-proof suit, I think he should wear the grey body suit over the armor. They might do that, since they like to have a new costume in ech movie.

I understand the marketing aspect of the latex suit, but one of the 'suspension of disbelief' aspects in the movies, has always been, why does a guy that needs a large range of movement in his "work", fighting, swinging from the rooftops, etc, wear a heavy, limiting suit? One of these days, (when the moola from the movies starts to tap out) We'll have a Bats TV show. For a lot of practical reasons, I bet that suit will be a more flexible, light, but strong looking one, much like in this pic---making it, ironically, much more feasable for the character.
