Congratulations, Marcus. You've done it yet again! Cool pic of Strange. Great colors and FX as always. I don't really care for the Wolverine hair or skin tight shirt here but I really like Strange's face and expression. I don't really think I've mentioned how much I like the personality, expression and different characteristics you've shown in the many faces in these renders but it's one (of the many) great strengths which really helps seperate your work from the 3D pack.

Yup, very nice pic. Great mood and composition, and gorgeous lighting. I also love the cloak, it just looks cool (but the left / screen right part interacts weirdly with his shoulder and doesn't look to connect up to those gold discs the same way as the right side of the cloak). The Eye of Agamotto is well done as well. I'll second LP's comment on the shirt... it just looks off. Also, something doesn't quite work for me with his face. It looks good, and the way it's lit is a beaut, but it somehow feels too, I dunno, creepy. For some reason I can't quite place my finger on, something about the eyes, to me this has a bit of the feel of an EVIL sorceror. Weird. :?

I like this. You tell me what I want to hear.
I should have worked on his upper costume but I haven't figured out hoe to do 3D clothes quite yet. I could draw the top but I can get a little lazy from time to time. As to the eyes, I agree that he does look a little severe but I really did want him to look that way. I like to think that Strange has a dark side. He's not David Copperfield. He is a rather twisted man with great power. Sometimes a dark power. He does have to fight some sick individuals. What I should have done was to show him in battle with Dormammu or Mordo, then this look may have been more appropriate. Keep up the critique-ing as it really does help. I'm glad you are enjoying my s**t as I enjoy making it and as much as my own opinion is usually the only one I listen to, it is great to hear a different side from people with the same artistic goals and desires. I want to see a real movie made starring the Defenders or any great super team and I strive to make them real in my own way. I have done the Doctor, the Surfer and the Hulk so I need to do Nighthawk, Valkyrie and Namor. Maybe even Hellcat. I hope you like what's coming next. Talk later. Marcus.
