I like this and the previous uncolored version; both look good drawingwise ... it's just it's kinda a weird pose, almost look like he's doing a backflip or something. If so, it'd make more sense to rotate the image 180 if there's no background for reference because now, it looks like he's dropping but then the cape shouldn't point straight down. Also, if you don't want to draw the cape, you might consider using a gradient fill on the interior to give it a little more depth.
