I'm not to crazy about the puddles or lightning here but as for the rest... WOW, I like the gray rainy look and I love the two characters and the great action poses here. White Cloak seems to be an interesting character so I'm glad you've been posting new pics of him again. BTW, congrats on the front page!

Well aside from the armour, my personal favorite part is the title. As close to ironic poetry as I'm likely to get.

I don't think I'll be using my puddle style again, at least not until I can figure out how to flatten it. The lightning I have no problem with though.

And I'm still a bit numb that I made Front Page for the third time since I first came here in...what was it, May? It's probably happened a million times here over the years, so I'm probably all excited over nothing, but still...it is sort of cool.

Glad you liked it, LP. Always count on you for a kind word or an honest assessment.

An intriguing idea, MW. I'm not too sure how we'd work it all together- possibly the same way BioHaz and I did the Crossover piece, with each of us doing one thing then finetuning it into a workable image. I can't say anything on Le Pijon's behalf, but I'm always looking for an excuse to work with other people. Send me any ideas you might have and I'll see what the Inspiration Fairy hits me over the head with.

Looks pretty good. I agree that you should stay away from the water effects until you get better. The title is most fitting of the theme of the picture and I know you were going for a dramatic effect with the rain angle but to depict a heavy rain like this and not have it effect the characters at all [no rain splashes or droplets] kinda takes away from the pic. Keep at it though..as a comicbook creator myself I admire what you are doing. :D

Well, I guess I should speak for LP on this one. At one point, after seeing Hawk and Haz's Ten Nights of the Beast (http://www.comics2film.com/DCG/DispArt.php3?f_id=19921&f_ssn=&f_fooble=8), I was inspired enough by the piece that I was going to suggest a "Versus" theme day where two artists would team up, each draw a character who was fighting with their partner's. That would be the only rule, pairs could work out among themselves any additional details. After a similar suggestion was made for the HM/C2F crossover, I just kind of let the whole thing drop.
As for me, I'm still a bit too bogged down by real world stuff to really commit to any collaboration stuff yet , especially with a couple of ideas I have that I really want to get to although I still owe ya one, Shade
