Although this film isn't what I'd call "obscure," I do think it flew under the radar and hasn't received the "love" I think it deserves. It is a very unique and interesting sort of time travel story with a message and some real insight into some issues. I really liked it and if you haven't seen it, do so.

I saw it on DVD, and was really impressed. I think it actually did pretty well once it was out of the theaters and word of mouth created a following.

I own Frequency and I agree that its overlooked and underrated. The story is very moving and the ending (that I don't want to spoil) is very climactic. I like the film a lot.

GREAT film. Discovered it on DVD. Ridiculous, yet great.

This is one I saw in the theaters with good expectations and had those expectations exceeded wildly. It is absolutely one of the best movies I've seen in at least the last 10 years and it still sticks in my brain 6 years later. Every time I see it on TV, no matter where I pick it up in its run, I have to watch it to the end.

I'm ashamed to admit it is not yet in my DVD collection. I think I'll go remedy that tonight. I was probably waiting for an SE with extras and the like and forgot about it. Anyone know if there is more than a simple transfer out there?

I saw this movie in theatres and it was the first movies I've ever seen where at the end of it people started clapping. Weird experience for me. Very good movie though.
