"Grease" on acid, this movie is just a whole lot of fun, and with some great music in it, too (if you can handle 50's music). Johnny Depp, Traci Lords, Ricki Lake, Iggy Pop . . . just a good time.

I never was able to get into John Waters movies. He's like David Lynch with a sense of humor.

I love ALL of John Waters' films. I saw Cry-Baby the week it came out in the theaters. Of course, Johnny Depp was the big draw.
If you are really in a quirky mood, though, see "Polyester." It comes with Smell-a-vision!!! And Divine is, well, divine!!
I've seen Cry-Baby a handful of times, and it feels, to me anyways, like an Elvis movie on acid. I never quite know whether I like it or hate it, but I will always watch it if it comes on. I will never go looking for it, but if it's on, even in the middle, I will watch the rest of it. I suppose you could say it's kind of like a horrific car accident. You can't bring yourself to look away, and you feel guilty because you don't.
