Satisfying

Yep, the end of this season was down right satisfying, if I say so myself!

I had to tape the season finale so my wife and I could read books
to the kids, then put them to bed, which took an hour to do. :o

Then waited until 10PM to watch the tape.

And during the second hour, I so called it!

I kept thinking, Jack isn't that stupid. He wouldn't give
himself up so easily. He HAD to have planted a bug on the pres.
And sure enough, that's what he did.

That SO rocked.

And that smile Martha gave Charles at the podium when he knew he
was busted, was absolutely delicious. :D

But then when Jack and Audrey was about to end the episode feeling
all lovey-dovey, I knew something was terribly wrong when
that Asian agent told him a call from Kim was waiting on the landline phone.

I had to stop the tape at that point, and scream "NO Jack! Don't go IN!"
But it was too late. And wow what a contrast to last season when he
was walking down the tracks to go underground.

Now he's in a slow boat to China. :(

Jack! Come back! Come back Jack!!!!

It seems to me this season really hasn't "ended," that they really are continuing this story line into next season, or at least chunks of it.

Well, its wait until January, now . . . d'oh . . .

This season has turned out to be one of my favourites (somehow, last season was very forgettable for me except for the finale). This is the first time it's ended with Jack being in real grave danger. As soon as that asian guy came up to Jack, I was like "Uh-oh here it comes, China..."....and then I thought that maybe it WAS Kim calling and that it would make real the line that Henderson uttered: "You can't touch them, but they can touch you." But it was China, of course......at least we know he'll live through 3 more days (seasons), so he'll be fine. And this may be the first time that we get to see two consecutive days - a continuous 48 hours.

Loved the season, but didn't like the last few minutes with Jack off to China!

I sort of wished they just let everyone revel in their victory.

I don't think we'll have a consecutive 48 hours ... and if you think about it, I doubt the last 15 minutes were in real time--otherwise it was very fast to transport Jack from the airport to the seaport and then stick him in the hold of a container ship!
