Dan Slott, writer of the 'She-Hulk' comic-books, reacts to the news of a movie with Eva Mendes:
"Soon as I heard the media buzz I called up my agent in L.A.! I said, 'Michael, do whatever you can. Knock on every door. I gotta pitch a treatment for this!'
"Seriously, I've been working on this book since 2003! I've been living with this character and her world inside my head for four years. I SO know how you'd do this movie! And Eva Mendes? She'd make a great She-Hulk! I know this's all floating around in the rumor phase, but still... C'mon! That'd be so cool!"
Wow! That would be awesome! Slott's Shulkie is an amazing book. Think Ally McBeal in the Marvel Universe. Bam. There's your pitch right there.
Finally a big name mainstream superhero comedy. And UNlike 'My Super Ex Girlfriend', the female protagonist is likeable.
I highly suggest checking out Dan Slott's run on the latest She Hulk series it's very fun. I know they got a number of trades out.
Here's a link to Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/She-Hulk-Vol-Single-Green-Female/dp/0785114432/sr=8-1/qid=1171830267/ref=sr_1_1/104-7486469-8621520?ie=UTF8&s=books). (Because Marvel.Com's serarch function sucks.)
