New Spider-Man Costume [SPOILER]

This is the "new" costume Spidey gets from Ironman after The Other storyline. Ugh, the things they are doing to Spidey these days......maybe they will change his name to Iron-Spider. I give this new costume three months.

I think they are part of the costume. (Tony Starks is a drinker you know) or they are...*sigh* organic. It wouldn't be a big suprise if they were, Peter has stingers that come out of his wrists now, (think Wolverine) why not spider legs too?

UGH....you know, it seemed the spidey comics were doing pretty ok with JMS, I mean, he brought MJ back. And then this happened. At least now I won't feel so bad about not buying them anymore - I was gonna stop since I couldn't afford them anymore, since I'm unemployed and in school fulltime. Now, even if I had the money, I think I'd stop.

I predict that he'll be back in the old spidey costume within six months. Same thing happened back when MacFartland stuck Spidey in the black and white costume.

I actually kinda liked the black costume. It was simple and plain, but somehow appealing to me. I'll always love the classic costume of course, but it was nice that he had the black costume for a brief time.

From what i'ce heard and the hints dropped already, Spidey's and Iron Man(Who's designing the suit) relationship will be a key factor in the upcoming "Civil War" storyline. I dont think the suit looks too bad either, i just dont like the color. give me red and blue on that and it'd be great.

And looking at the picture, thats gotta be why ultimates 2 is so late...

I don't get why everyone is so down on this. By reading some stuff on the upcomong storyline, I don't think this is permanent. I don't guy why everyone has to throw a shit-fit whenever there is some kind of change made. Could we at least read the first issue before we bash the hell out of it? Maybe just give it a little chance.

Whatever your feelings, you got to respect Marvel for taking a risk like this.

I think they made the suit that way because it is un-spiderman like. I think one of the conflicts will be Stark trying to exert to much control over Spidey - but that is mostly speculation.

I think it would look better with the matching tutu and maybe some nice hot pink kulats...or even clogs.

Everything about Spidey of late is "UN"Spider-Man like. Lets not even get into the Spider-Gods mumbo jumbo. I don't mind change as long as it doesn't suck and IMO except for the Ultimate line Spidey sucks pretty bad. This is of course, just my opinion.:winks:
