whoa! Well... that was unexpected. I like it! It has some glitching issues, but I think thei'll end up being cool. How long ya all been planning on upgrading?

Oh...about 5 years :D

As you said, the initial upload had a major unexpected problem, and took about 90 minutes longer to sort out than I would have liked. Things are pretty much working as they should be now. There's still lots to do, but I wanted to get the initial upgrade in place tonight.

There'll be an announcement on the front page in about 20 minutes....

Love the new look. So, are the message boards getting a facelift next then? If so, I patiently await more exciting changes. :D

The boards will be getting a face lift soon, and in the process should get the avatars back.

phpBB version 3 is just about ready to be installed. Hopefully the developers will be able to launch that soon, and you'll see lots of cool new stuff on the boards, and it'll look more like the primary site.

Robbo, would it be possible to have toned down settings for those of us who want to check in sometimes from a PDA? I have an HTC Wizard that i keep in my pocket to browse with. All the flash stuff fails to load.
