Does anyone know why LOST's season2 DVD box says "Extended Experience"?

Nah, when you open the box it releases an aerosol form of LSD so that even after you finish watching it you're still in a haze of confusion and illogicalness!

My guess is that there will be some extended episodes in the set...OR it could just be a stupid marketing name meaning you'll get extra features such as documentaries and deleted scenes.

......

Okay, after looking around a bit on this, it seems my second guess is the correct one. It's just some "snazzy" name the marketing people came up with because you can't just call a dvd a dvd anymore. No, everything has to be the "super-extraordinary most awesomest nifty extended edition ever made" edition. It's a stupid trend.

Housewives and Grey's Anatomy both have similar themes for their S2 boxed sets. I think they'll probably include a few deleted scenes in some of the episodes; scenes that I doubt will have any significant impact on the overall arc.

I'm with Strider. It probably just refers to special features, documentaries, etc. Maybe they'll tease us with some "extra content" like 5 extra seconds of Jack walking through the jungle, but I doubt it'll be more than that. I'm a cynic. :-)

I read about something in TV Guide which mentioned the Lost Experience being some sort of internet experience that went along with the show. I was flipping through it in line at the grocery and didn't buy it so I can't say if what I read has any bearing on the DVD set. I haven't bought mine yet... but I will.

Did anyone watch that little half hour "cathing up with Lost" thingie on ABC? It wasn't revelatory at all, but it was fun to watch. A fun bit was showing a lot of mentions of the numbers throughout the show.
