C2F Secret Santa

I was taking to B and seeing as how there is not a topic started for this yet, figured I would. I know the Holidays are coming up and this should have been started last month. but we are busy and we have lives. But this will be an unoffical C2F event.

Anyone that wouldl like to participate, sign up here. Singn ups will be for one week. Cut off for Sign ups will be December 10th. And the Dead line for the art will be Dec 23rd ( 13 days) or if enough people enter and like the idea or if they need more time I have no problem extending it to a full month, but would like to try to get people their pairings done by the 23th in time for the Holidays.

Simply Sign up as a willing artisit and 3 images or characters you would like to have see or have done. The Secret Santa will make one of those 3 images in what ever media they want for the giftee. Most importantly have fun with it. I will Talk to B ( he doesn't know this yet) to see if he would like them sent all at once to the site or post them with C2F Secret Santa in the Title.

2. Witchblade
3. Toff from Avatar: the Last Air Bender as you think she would appear as a grown up.

Sorry I didn't get this started this year, I didn't even think about it. There's been such little discussion here on the boards that I completely forgot, so thanks for picking it up for me.

He'd like them submitted to the queue with the usual ****xmas preface in the title. Let's make the deadline Christmas day, Dec 25th. A couple extra days can always be useful. Zac and/or I will assign Secret Santas on the 10th.

Now let's see if enough people actually read this topic and sign up to make the exercise worthwhile... :P

UPDATE: Okay, some extra information... The deadline for signing up is DECEMBER 10th, at midnight EST. You must (MUST) provide an email or other means of contact to participate. If we can't contact you, we can't let you know who your victimxxxxxxgift recipient is, right?

Submit your gift to the gallery as usual, with the prefix ****xmas. You may, if you wish, request the classic C2F XMas gift of an image of yourself as a comics character, but if you do so, we'd be grateful if you provided some other option as well, for the non-manippers among us.

Ok, I knwo what need to be done.. Going to create an image of a guy holding a Sign up that telles people to come sign up for the Secret Santa here :D...and send it to the gallery fror all to see...well it works out in my head LOL

Can't believe more people aren't jumping on this. Oh well, the benefits of not having a life, I suppose. Well you can count me in, at least. I'd love to have a chance to shake off the winter cobwebs. I'm reachable at johndoek@hotmail.com.

For my three, I think I' like to see--

1. The new Captain America. Like, Tony Stark in red-white-blue armour, or maybe Peter Parker decides to honour his hero by
taking up the mantle himself, or Hawkeye, or something like that. Think out side the box.

2. Any character other then Spidey being overwhelmed by a symbiote. Any character at all. DC, Marvel, Tony the Tiger, anyone. Well, maybe not actually Tony the Tiger, but you get the idea.

3. a Super Mario Bros. pic. You can make it look any way you like, but it should still be recognizable as Mario, and co.

And hopefully I'm not being too difficult by being so specific.

1) STARLORD: Marvel comics, from the John Byrne run on the book. Got to love that.
2) GRENDEL PRIME..
3) HARDWARE, Yeap, from the Milestone line of Books.

I don't really have choices, just give me something cool that shows time spent on it. I'm really not expecting a gift, just wanna do something for the holidays and to get activity back into the DCG. If there's an increase in activity here, that's more than enough gift for me :D

However, if my Secret Santa wants to attempt it, me as any character. That'd be sweet. I'll provide photos or links to admins if they want/need 'em, I might have some in the DCG Photo Album.

Well, for my choices seeing how they are all pretty much masked, anyone will do I Guess. EXCEPT, Brad Pitt, Arnold Schwarzenegger, And Will Smith. They are all busy this time of year so lets give them a rest. I think thats it

Okay, I am trying to upload my picture, but the Gallery will not let me SIGN in..WHY, WHY WHY is this happening now? Who ever Santa may be dropping a gift off for you may have to check with the Site Moderator to get it, I am going to try to upload one more time, then I am sending it to them.
