Yes, I'm back from the dead. True, I haven't been dead to begin with, but as some of C2F folks may have noted, I have taken a bit of time off from the site in the last few months.

Anyway, this post in regards to Nic Cage joking around, and would even like it if Ghost Rider could share a scene with a cameo of Spider-Man.

It sounds like a joke, and it probably is. But...seeing how there is the rumor last week about the Iron Man-Hulk characters crossing a busy street, so to speak, and how in Spidey 2 MJ bumped into Tom Jane's stand-in from 2003's Punisher, and the whole thingamajig with Sam Jackson as Nick Fury popping in and out like a Stan Lee cameo...

And the fact that Sony distributed the Spidey and Ghost Rider films...
could it be possible?

As I started to shake my head "no", then the Cage interview went on about GR villians not being that good (I disagree) but ...

what if...

The Hobgoblin was given his monsterous appearance?
I'd be alright with that...

Ghost Rider has teamed up with Spider-Man before, but then Spidey has teamed up with everyone. I personally wish we could actually have a Marvel Team Up series of movies, separate from the main franchises, where the two could cross over.

As for Ghost Rider's villains - well maybe they're not all that great, but they're really what the actor makes them. A two bit villain could be a great villain on screen and a great villain could be like Julian McMahon on screen.

in the DC universe, I'd say "NEVER" bu in the Marvel universe avi arad is a real wildcard... Never say Never, its not likely since in the movies, these "universes" move a lot slower than their comic book counterparts... I mean, ok so if DC was smart, they wouldnt have tried to cram THE DEATH OF SUPERMAN into 70 minute animated movie... they should have done a multi-part trilogy of live action movies that fully encorpoated ALL of the Death of Superman storyline (everything) instead of the neutered and abbreviated animated movie that was released.
