I shared this question with Sickness when he came to visit a couple of weeks ago, and I decided to go ahead and ask you guys why this is so?
I bought a case of Smithwicks - bottled. Fine stuff.
A good beer. Not the best, but I enjoyed it nevertheless.
At least, that's what my opinion was after trying my first bottle.
A few days later, I went outside in the Georgia heat, and mowed the lawn.
After a good hour plus, I came back inside all sweaty and muscles throbbing,
and downed a bottle of Smithwicks - and for whatever reason,
IT TASTED LIKE THE BEST BEER I EVER HAD.
A couple of days after that, when I was having pizza for dinner,
I grabbed me another bottle and found it tasted just like the first,
making me conclude the same opinion I had when I tried the first bottle.
Question: How could this be? Why should doing a physical workout make beer taste better?
Anyone have ideas for this?
