CBn usually has the best sources; I thought Rose Byrne was in, but no announcement.

If we're really going to allow Americans, I'd say Marena Baccarin is a fabulous choice.

The Sun newspaper in the UK this morning carried a double page spread of Thandie Newton declaring her the new Bond Girl. Then again this is the Sun !

I don't think Thandie Newton is a good idea. She was only okay playing the same sort of role in MI2. I'm not too worried though, let's be honest, playing a Bond girl isn't the most demanding acting performance.

BION, I never saw MI or MI2. Thandie Newton had a lot of emotional depth in her role on ER (to which I am addicted).
