This is one of those movies were inspiration meets execution head on. There are so many genuinely original and classic moments in this film, that I could go on and on with references to moments in the movie.
"Where's my 2 dollars?!"
If you haven't seen it, when you do the line above will be etched in your memory forever.
My dad's always been a John Cusack fan, so I've seen this movie many times. I still enjoy it every time it's on.

Favorite quotes come from Curtis Armstrong.
This is pure snow! Do you have any idea what the street value of this mountain is?
I think I just froze the left half of my brain!
Look! I can?t move my right arm!
Go that way, really fast. If something gets in your way, turn.
You ski the K-12 dude, and girls will go sterile just looking at you!
I've been going to this high school for seven and a half years. I'm no dummy. I know high school girls.

One of the really good 80s teen movies NOT directed by John Hughes.
"Buck up, little camper."

This was one of my favorite movies that I actually saw in the theater when it came out. I had a copy on VHS, and then later on laserdisc, and now on DVD.
It was directed by 'Savage' Steve Holland who worked with Cusack in another comedy gem "One Crazy Summer". Also, Holland directed "How I Got Into College" before going on into animation with the "Eek! The Cat" series.
My favorite Four lines:
1. "Gee Ricky, I'm sorry that your mom blew up. I guess she won't be able to eat any spicy food a while."
2. "Well you two have my vote for cutest couple. Word of advice, I'd shave her a little closer before you kiss her goodnight."
3. "Now that's a real shame when folks go and throw away a perfectly good white boy like that."
4. "I thought that if Cassanova and I had nothing to talk about he'd get bored. Go away. Instead he uses it as a chance to put his testicles all over me."
"Excuse me?!"
"How do you say...octopus...testicles...?"
"Oh! TENTacles! N. T. Big difference."
