Hellboy animated is an interesting idea--I wonder how Mike Mignola feels about having first del Toro do a reimagining of his world, then a second reimagining by these animators.

I would hope Mike retained full rights to his characters and hence made the decision to have them interpreted in other mediums. You would think he would have some input as a creative consultant.
