Want a better FF4 movie? Get rid of Tim Story and give us some action...I mean, the Thing, this big mighty guy didn\'t fight anyone or throw one punch....the script was awful...get rid of Story, bring in a Chris Nolan type...and also concerning Daredevil and Ghost Rider, please never let Mark Steven Johnson ever direct a super hero movie again!!!

While I enjoyed the second FF movie more, this was largely due to the role of the Surfer. I would just as soon see him return and let the FF hibernate until they can get a good script for \"Fantastic Four: The Residue of Paste-Pot Pete.\" That spells BLOCKBUSTER!

Keep Chris Nolan as FAR away from fare like the Fantastic Four as possible. The \"Dark\" approach like Batman Begins would be a major mistake for this series as the tone would be just totally wrong.

Figures some one would say get rid of Tim Story. Typical! Fire tha Black man. Tim did a great job with what he had. Hell Suoerman was horrible! And I never heard one fan boy calling for Bryann (boring) Singer\'s head. Personally FF2 was better than the majority of superhero movies to date. But from the posts on here and ain\'t it cool news the problem was that a Black man directed it. Sigh, at least this time it\'s just one idiot (Billymat) who\'s sounding off. Because when the Kingpin was made Black in Daredevil the biggoted fanboys lost it!

Didnt know Story was Black, but either way he\'s wrong from FF. How many punches did the Thing throw in FF2....0....where\'s the fight scenes? Where\'s the action....SINGER SUCKS..HE RUINED SUPERMAN....The black kingpin was great....

Punches? The Silver Surfer is a little above a boxing match with the Thing. Not all superheroes are about a martial arts exhibition. Tim Story is perfect for the Fantastic Four. He really captures the feeling of the comics. As for an FF project where the Thing WOULD be throwing punches would be Fantastic Four vs. the Hulk feature! This is a movie begging to be made!

Personally, I think the thing was underused...
I mean here\'s this bulk of a guy, who Clobbered every bad guy in the comics and he didn\'t \"clobber\" anyone...It would have been
great to have a Thing fight scene, not necessarily with Silver Surfer but with someone!!!. I agree with others that SS was the best thing about FF. I just want more action, more continuity, a stronger story and I want some Clobbering.

The biggest weakness of the two FF movies, along with the Hulk and Daredevil movies was the lack of a creditable super villain. Sure, Doc Doom is one of the FF\'s most battled comic book foes, but he comes off poorly on the big screen. Tying his origin to the same accident which gave the FF their abilities was a mistake as well.

Personally, if there is a 3rd installment, then let them battle the Frightful Four, which would open the door for the Inhumans to make a later appearance. Or even throw in the Hulk into the mix (and maybe even save that series) and allow Benjie and the Hulk go at each other.

Another good choice would be Annihilus with his Cosmic Control Rod and Blasstar invading from the Negative Zone, with Sue\'s and Franklin\'s lives hanging in the balance.

The strength of both the X-men and Spiderman series were the excellent assortment of super villains to battle. Doom worked in the comics because he worked behind the scenes, using pawns to lure the FF into traps and then taking advantage when they were helpless. The average movie goer hasn’t the patience to go through a long convoluted story to get to the action. Plus, the producers need to quit treating them like movie stars in how they deal with the public settings and concentrate allowing Reed to tinker, Sue prepare for Franklin’s birth and maybe let Ben and Johnny reference other adventures outside of the ones we have seen onscreen ala the old Marvel Team Up comics.
