I found the scene in" Walkabout "where Locke is sitting in his Cubical imputing numbers in his adding machine to be funny and ironic.

Also I think the Marshal's words to Jack about Kate were almost word for word the same as what Rousseau told Sayid about Henry Gale.

That's so cool, thinking about Locke inputing numbers for a living. Now, refresh my memory. Hurley had no idea that he owned a box company until his financial advisor told him, right? That means that if indeed his boss at the chicken place was also working at the box company, he'd had no idea about it.

I only re-watched the 2 hr first ep Kate's flashback and Locke's first FB. I will hopefully watch more at work tonight. I Also found it strange that in the French lady's transmission she says the Others are dead. HMMMMMM!!!

Well, to be fair, I don't think she meant The Others in capitals. I think she meant the others in lowercase, as in, the others in her party. Remember, she was speaking in French and Shannon was translating.

Yeah I know I just thought the wording was odd. Also Jin told Sun right after the crash Don't worry about the others we need to stick together.

Speaking of Sun and Jin in those early episodes... there never was really any connection with the Jin we see after the crash (controling, hostile, making Sun button her sweater all the way) and the Jin we see in flashbacks or see now.
Fine, you can say he has grown since the crash and that's why he's nicer and more understanding now, but he's even nice in the flashbacks. I mean, he is upset about the work he does for Sun's father but he is upset about it because he is a nice guy. We don't see the bizarre controling Jin that is showcased in the first few episodes. I think that was a case of the writers not knowing who the character was when they first started.

I think Jin changed after he thought Micheal was gonna kill him with the ax.

I think Jin changed when he took off his shirt, because the writers realized they already had a hot bad boy in Sawyer, so Jin had to be the hot good-boy-once-forced-to-be-bad-but-now-he's-good-again boy.

Did that make sense? I was picturing Jin and Sawyer shirtless and the words kinda left my brain.:D

I watched Sayid's first flashback ep today. I found it strange that His plan for breaking Nadia out was almost the same Micheal had for breaking Henry out. Even down to shooting himself.

Except...Sayid didn't blow away two major characters in the process. :-)

True,True. But I bet his character was 100 times more popular than Ana Lucia's.

And I'll bet you the actor who played him wasn't arrested for drunk driving.
