I love that Adult swim encourages cartoonists to push envelope in taking potshots at beloved superheroes and classic cartoon establishments! Harvey Birdman is just another fine example of cartooning gone wrong! My husband and I must have a copy for our twisted toon collection!

When I was a kid I played Superhero alot I never played Birdman, nor Harvey Birdman attorney at law. But when you talk about the justice system you must remember who the one man who has always represented Justice. Captain America. I have spent the las few months sitting in a state of despair over the death of a true American Icon. Captain America was gut shot on the steps of the capital. Oh, Sure they will put someone else in the Uniform and Call him Captain America. But it won\'t be Captain America. Steve Rogers was Captain America. He fought the Nazis Defeated the Red Skull more times than a person could count and was frozen 40 years on an Iceberg. I have always had an affinity for Comics. When I was a kid and playing superhero with my brother I was always the Hulk or Batman. If I was in a weird mood I would play Martian Manhunter. My brother would have his cast of regulars Superman and Spider-man and he would occassionally play Plastic man. In the Pool was another story altogether. There I was always Namor and My brother was always Aquaman. (Truth be told I forced him) See Namor was cool for two big reasons firstly he looked like Spock off of Star Trek and how cool is that. Secondly he had the much cooler name Prince Namor Imperious Rex The Sub-Mariner. Aquaman was either Aquaman or Arthur Curry. Really how can you be Super cool in the K.O.A. swimming pool if your secret identity name is Arthur. Little did I suspect that in the late 1990\'s and early 2000\'s they would make Aquaman an almost unparalleled telepath. You know what just occured to me is that no matter what the situation that arose we always played someone other than Captain America. This is really weird when you think about the fact that at the time I would be playing Superhero it was around 1976. Imagine at the Bicentenial when Patriotism was at it\'s highest we never even thought about playing Captain America. Yeah, We never played Captain America....Now that I think of it...Screw Him....Really wished I had played Birdman.I was a huge perry mason fan when I was a child. If you feel it justified to relenquish the Harvey Birdman DVD you would be both allowingme to watch atruely remarkable Litagator. Secondly you may infact help relieve my guilt of never playing Birdman.
