Bale isn\'t that good, just better than the last few. But I still think Clooney could have been good, if not for the script... and the BatNipples...

Nathan Fillion is perfect for this. He\'s got a loyal fan base that would make him a draw, he\'s got the acting chops and he\'ll give more bang for the buck in the role.

Hey CaptQuirk, are you an F___ING RETARD?!!
Clooney SUCKED!!always has always will, nipples or not.\" Bale isn\'t that good\". You\'ve got balls putting your name to that one. Bale was born to play Batman. In fact , in the 70\'s 80\'s DC artist Jim Aparo drew Batman almost exclusively. If you look at his Bruce Wayne, it\'s Bale clear as day. Almost as if Jim had a premonition.
The beauty of what Nolan and Bale did was , they washed the foul taste of the previous Batman films from our mouths. As an actor , Christian Bale has more talent that the entire casts of the other Batman films put together.
And now Warner Bros. are going to rape Batman again! This time taking the whole JLA down with him. This movie shouldn\'t be made. John Stewart is not the original GL for the JL. F__K the urban demographics. They don\'t care about this comic book stuff. Give us Hal Jordan or F--K OFF!This Justice League film is going to be the film that kills any future DC franchises and/or prospects. And it\'s going to hinder any further comic/movie projects completely!

Obscure choice, not well know, but perfect for the role.

The Batman/Redeye/brother eye/Tower of Bable line has been done and overdone. It is great that you basically pit The Batman vs. the League and he wins. Mind over muscle, or super speed or whatever, but that is not what the league is. You have to establish the trust and the bonds before it means anything to tear them apart.
Here is a set of villains for a Justice League Movie: Vandal Savage, Ra\'s a Ghul, Solomon Grundy, Professor Ivo. Immortals with issues and attitudes. The JL could take down Red Tornado, and Amazo droids (This Amazo is designed to counter their powers not duplicate them), there could be a nice bit with Ra\'s using a Lazarus Pit to make Grundy smart again and stronger. Vandal running the show with Ra\'s chomping at the bit, they have long history. Perhaps and insinuation that Ra\'s was a child or grandchild of his and something of a disappointment (\"I should have fed on you at birth\"). Vandal wants WW for offspring to have mystically enhanced organs and tissues as he needs them. Ra\'s wants to rule and Batman to take over for him (part of Vandal\'s disappointment, direct rule is a blunt and temporary instrument and Ra\'s picks the weakest of the group for inheritance). Solomon Grundy wants vengeance for all the humiliation suffered by each member of the JL when he was stupid, except the Flash. He will of course lose his intelligence in the end, but still be aware that he had it at one time. A shot of him screaming inside his own head. Ivo wants to die, he\'s monstrous from his experiment to give him immortality, he is vague about how long he has lived, and again there may be a possible family relationship to Vandal, that Vandal may not be aware of. Red Tornado and Amazo are designed to bring the wrath of the JL down on him so they will kill him. They do not of course, and Supes shows him pity which only pisses him off. He can be seen building a new Amazo, with what he\'s gathered during the battle this new Amazo will have their powers) and working on a side project for Luthor: Metallo. Grundy is not affected by GL\'s ring, and GL was the worst of the lot with humiliating defeats. Grundy\'s strength will rival that of Supes and WW. Supes will be on the ropes due to Grundy\'s Mystical nature. Flash will take him down in the end and will be the only one that feels pity when Grundy loses his intelligence. Batman will defeat Vandal Savage in combat, humbling him and earning his respect. Vandal will save Ra\'s from capture since there may be something to him after all to have seen Batman\'s quality. Vandal escapes with a sample of WW cells, but upon study finds that it has reverted and is only the clay from which she was made. The league decides that they should expand and we can have a sweet montage of other heroes being considered. Perhaps even a nod to the JSA.

Yep, Clooney could\'ve nailed it in a decent movie. The whole Batman thing probably scared him off of any chance at playing the Green Hornet which I think he\'d be good for.

As for Batman, how about Jack Brewer from \"Return to the Batcave\"? What\'s he been doing since then? Or Clark Bartram?

/only half serious - thinks they\'ll screw up the League movie so I don\'t much care who\'s in it.

Batman\'s easy to cast. In a Justice League movie he will have a mask on the wole time. Your really just casting a voice.

Not true for other characters. They need to be strong.

And I must say it. Please Hal Jordan.

Give \'em Hal

for crying out loud ; you\'d think this was a supreme court battle. This is about a comic book to film adaptation, I know people get passionate about it but it\'s not worth cursing someone out. Seriously, you need to re-examine your priorities.

Why does Warners have to use Batman if the franchise is already successful. Warners and DC doesn\'t want to use Bruce Wayne in Smallville because they are afraid that it will take the spotlight of the Nolan films (Batman begins was awesome), wouldn\'t the JLA film be doing the same thing.
I\'d opt for another non powered character such as Green Arrow instead. He was a successful character in smallville and it is about time he got the big screen treatment. Add Hal Jordan to the mix and then the film may have a little more credability.
Batman does not belong in a Justice League film.

Ok we didn\'t get the Superman form Wolds Finest, but come on! The actor that played Batman would be perfect. At least he wouldn\'t be another crappy 20-something, emo loser!

If they\'re rushing to put this together before the writers strike, put it aside until they can do it right.
