I'm gonna be really sad if this is true. I loved Superman Returns. Sorry u didn't like it chat. Obviously, you are the arbiter of good taste, and you have the brains you were mentioning. It's Richard Donner.

If not Singer, then bring back Richard Donner.

I'd love to see his third crack at it.

If he had been able to finish Superman II, I think we'd all still be calling it the best comic book movie ever.

Stopping the Justice League movie is a great idea. It's not going to work until the other characters are better defined. However, please let Megan Gale be Wonder Woman. That woman is exquisite.

people Bryan Singer isn't backing up hes waiting till the issue with the paperworks, lawsuit , strike is over and settled with. Besides I couldn't see another director direct Superman like the way Singer did big ups Bryan keep up the good work. Also in the sequel it would be cool if the son of Karl-El aka Superman got into some action and introduced Super Boy besides he is the son of the greatest DC Superhero of all times. And as far for the villain why don't bring in the big mean machines that Superman battled ive watched the old cartoon movies.

I'm sorry but I find this GREAT NEWS! Like may I found Singer's Superman BORING! And the same goes for his work on the X-Men movies. I mean what was up with the sappy soap opera story line? He's Superman! Not Stalker Man! Singer did a good job with the usual suspects but lost his mojo over the years. And since they are cleaning up Supes, get rid of the stiff shirt who played Lois. She was the worst. Also erase the kid!

WOW! Great News! To those who loved Superman Returns, the next one can only be better....for those who didn't love it, like me,
the next one can only be better...so we all win.

Routh...deserves another shot....Welling....is my choice.....
someone new...very interesting.

I hope the kid is at summer camp for this next movie.

For God's sake, whoever directs it, let's have a villain that's not yet been seen in a Supes flick...Braniac, Parasite...someone!

Maybe we can get a director who's actually read a Superman comic in the last 30 years. Please, start over a new. Superman Returns was a nail in the coffin. It was a remake and sequel of an old film franchise the studio wouldn't leave alone. Donner had his version, why resurrect it? Plus the kid.. dear crap. Let's pretend this movie and that kid never existed.
