Jet Li's FEARLESS

I just got this on DVD last night from Hong Kong, Holy cow, this movie rocks. Supposedly it's Jet Li's final "period" martial arts film. Matrix/Crouching Tiger choreographer Wo Ping did the fights for this film too. I didn't even have subtitles, but the movie rocked.

If/when it comes out here in North America, I highly recommend this movie.

I think I saw a preview in the theater for it a few weeks ago. That or I saw one for it on a DVD. Either way, I believe it is going to hit Stateside in some form before the end of the summer.

Just did a little searching on the web and found that it is the #2 movie on the main page of Rogue Pictures' website. My guess is they are banking on this doing some good business. With that, I would be shocked not to see it in theaters.

It doesn't say anything about theaters but gives a release date of August 4, 2006 which is a Friday (theater release day), not a Tuesday (DVD release day).

Yup, Rogue Pictures (the genre arm of FOCUS FEATURES) is realising it on the big screen. I can't wait to see it on the big screen, even though I own an import DVD.
