I will have you know there is no vacation plan on this Earth (well, maybe France) that can last as long as I can keep a Monopoly game going.

Play if you dare....

It is about time but I think it seems a little lazy that the properties are just the films. I'm sure they could have easily came up with locations from the movies for this (Blofeld's volcano lair, Drax's space station, Atlantis, Fort Knox, etc.) everything else on it looks great though.

You know, I thought the exact same thing!

I always envisioned a little more thought behind it, like Fort Knox for Boardwalk, etc. I envisioned a Monopoly game which maybe required a little insight into the series. Sort of something that would be appreciated moreso by somebody who had actually invested the time to watch all of the films at one time or another.

Still, better than nothing.

I imagine they thought of using the film titles as a further means to marketing the films to a broader audience?

Still, I LOVE the game pieces, especially Rosa's shoe - brilliant!

Agreed about the dissapointing use of movies as properties.

I'm surprised at how popular the mini-jet from the opening of Octopussy is. It was featured prominently in Die Another Day's gadget store-room and it's one of the pieces.

Speaking of Bond games, has anyone played the Scene It? Bond Edition? If so, how is it?

The Scene It 007 edition is too easy for people on this forum I imagine. My friend fancied himself as a bit of a Bond-brain and told me he was going to beat me. I was finished before he was on his third turn and only then because of a few unlucky dice riolls from me. It was over in less than 15 minutes. It hasn't been out of it's box since.

However if we were playing against each other it could work. Shall we say Vegas in 2007 ? ;)

I'm in!! :D

I have the 007 Scene It game... it's really hard to find anyone to remotely keep up who's willing to play it. It's true that it's cake for true fans.

Yeah I just tried the online sample of it and went through it in 45 seconds. Too easy.

I also have scene-it and no one to play it with. Insultingly easy game anyways. Here's an actual question fro the game of the "brilliant bond" catagory: "In Octopussy, the beautiful and mysterious Magda has a tattot of what on her body?" Sheesh, the answer is in the question.

Vegas in '07? I'm actually gonna be there sometime in April.:D

None of my friends will play Scene It - 007 - against me. I need to buy the general movie version.

We are all getting into Buzz on the PS2. Do you guys have that in the US and elsewhere ? I imagine you do. The quiz game with the buzzers that plug into the controller ports. It's incredibly addictive when you have a few friends over and the drink is flowing.
