1) All rules are subject to change.

2) Individual episode threads will contain spoilers and speculation for that episode and all previous episodes. This means that before an episode airs there will be a spoiler thread dedicated to it. If you come across information for a specific episode & there is not already a thread dedicated to that episode please start one.

3) Non-episode specific spoilers go in the "Season 3 General Spoilers" thread.

4) If you want to remain unspoiled, post in the "Season 3 Speculation" thread.

5) Any spoiler in the wrong episode thread or in the speculation thread will be moved to the appropriate thread. And I will scold you.

6) I do not count episode titles as spoilers - so, if you want to start an episode thread, feel free to post the ep. title along with the episode number.

7) The subject of a flashback isn't a spoiler either. For instance, it's in the thread title that "The Hunting Party" had Jack flashbacks.

8) I don't care if you get off topic, just don't talk spoilers in a non-spoiler thread, but feel free to discuss monkeys in mittens as often as you please. (or polar bears)

9) Please use punctuation and capitalization. It is completely fine if your grammar is not perfect or if you forget to capitalize something here or there, but please use periods, at the very least. Without any form of punctuation posts are unreadable and you will be subjected to merciless torment by many of the regulars.

10) Sock puppets are not allowed on Cinescape. Do not use them on my forum unless you are making a joke about the show and inform me (via pm) about it first. Do not have your various personalities talk to one another on this forum. It makes you look psychotic. If I find out about it, I will unleash my brother on you. Do you really want that?

11) Southpaw is excluded from this rule. He is already a sockpuppet.

12) No Jakester porn, or porn of any kind, really - but especially Jakester porn. Take it to Excelsior.

13) Please post appropriate comments in appropriate threads. I.E. Do not post speculation or spoilers in a thread titled "lost ratings."

It's a term for a second (or third, forth, etc) screen name that you make up to hide in. Usually in character of something or someone else. Sometimes for fun, sometimes for more malicious reasons.

Did anyone catch the Lost reference on The Daily Show? It was in a segment hosted by Rob Cordry about America's intolerence against racists. At the very end, a fast scrawling list went down the screen, a list of people a racist wouldn't like. Of course, we used our TiVo to watch it in slo-mo. The list started with ethnic groups, then got silly, listing Jedi, Arimitheans, animated characters, and the like. At one point they listed "TiVo List pausers" which made us crack up. A few scrolls down, they wrote "Are you still watching this on your TiVo?" or something like that. A few more scrolls down, they wrote something like, "What do you think this is, Lost?" Then they listed the numbers in order. I cracked up.
