Do the "rights" to film have some sort of time sensitivity? 10-12 years seems like a loooong time to keep your hands tied to a project.

I suppose the courts will sort it out. This reminds me of the Spider-Man debacle.

I hope they lose big time. Too many good projects die because some idiot, studio or corp locks it away and just forgets about it. And yet mess like Dragons Wars and Dungeon Siege get to burn our corneas off.
