Well met Captain. I frigging hate Akira. The only thing I hate more than Akira are the legions of fanboys who insist that the only reason I didn't like it, was because I'm clearly just not smart enough to "GET IT".

I wouldn't say it sucked balls, I just didn't care for it. Maybe I had listened to too much hype before I saw it... Nah. I just don't think it was all that good. Every time I've tried to watch anime, it just seems dumb. Weirdness, for the sake of weirdness. Maybe I'm just missing some anime gene...
