I really, really wondered if that was the case. I thought those were some really big songs, for sure a little clip. Sheesh. Well, those big animation companies should know better than that. Still, too bad, since I really enjoyed hearing the X-Men get such a pop-rock soundtrack.

I hope this doesn't end up tanking the series. It looked way sweet!

I'm sure all will be fine. What Marvel will probably do is settle out of court and advertise the hell out of the Foo Fighters at no charge... perhaps even put the band in one of their movies and pay them handsomely. Don't believe me? Remember the Mary J. Blige cameo/ concert in Spider-man? Yeah, thought so.

Ha. I was wondering how and why Marvel or whoever made the trailer spent money on such a big band as The Foo Fighters. Turns out they didn't. Well, good for the band. Using someone's famous song in your trailer is cheap. Or maybe I should say, it isn't cheap.

Oh yeah, what made me think of that was when the producers and directors of Ghost Busters wanted Bobby Brown on the soundtrack for GB2. What did Bobby ask for in return? Yeah, he wanted to be in the movie and the studio accepted the deal and gave him a small role in it. He was the hotel doorman in one of the scenes. By the way, aren't they thinking of making another Ghost Busters?
