Since I've lived long enough to believe I actually "know" something and have gained some "wisdom" through, uh, "experience," I felt it my duty to pass along various things that I've come to believe possess axiomatic qualities. I'm going to share them over time.

This is "Garden Of Delight: Episode: Prologue to Basics."

If you truly want to experience some form of happiness in your life, do the following:
Step One: Find something you are really good at.
Step Two: Start doing it.
Step Three: Repeat.

Epilogue: Once you begin to contribute something by doing that for which you have talent, a new way of experiencing your life reveals itself to you.
And that is a reward beyond any price.

No- he's right. Just talk to someone sometime who actually likes their job. They usually appear 10-15 years younger than the rest of the people their age who are trudging through the next x-amount of years till retirement. It's a fabulous thing to excel at something you enjoy, and support yourself with it.
