Anyone else see this? I was lucky enough to catch it over the weekend. Really good film, not the propoganda-fest which I think a lot of people were expecting. If anything, it's nothing to do with smoking at all, more to do with freedom of choice. Really good little subtle things to notice too. Very impressed.

My god... I saw this movie three times in theatres. I LOVE it. I'm still seeing if I can score a poster from work because HOLY CRAP that movie was good.

Actually the best film I've seen all year, but you gotta love dark comedy.

If you like the movie - you'll love the book by Christopher Buckley.

God yes, like the part when the MOD are arguing over how many people they kill a year? Amazing!!! The whole way through I was sat there thinking this film was designed for Aaron Eckhart. It should open up so many avenues for him now.

Yes I think that Aaron Eckhart and the whole cast brought Christopher Buckley's dark comedy satire to life. The dvd has deleted scenes and another added bonus is a part of "The Charlie Rose" show that Christopher and Aaron were interviewed. Definately a good dvd to keep and watch  again.

Sadly, the DVD doesn't come out in these shores till December at least. I'm seriously pissed about that :angry .

Actually I just rented it over the weekend, it was a great film. Arron definetley kept you glued to the screen. Of coarse being a fan of dark and satire films this one was thouroughly enjoyable for me. Didn't get a chance to see the bonus features though.... 8-[

I finally got around to watching this movie this weekend, and I think it was a pretty good movie. I didn't get blown away by it, but it was funny to see the main character as a natural born bullshit artist who could spin ANYTHING his way.

Only thing I didn't like much about it was the whole Stanley Tucci kidnapping/niccotine OD plot. Who was that guy, what was he about, and would not smoking affect Nick? He seemed that it was a big deal but there was never any signs of him smoking(accept for the one scene when he notices he's out) or going through withdrawl.

JK Simmons was amazing as always as BR.

Definitely give this movie a solid B. I could see watching this again.

I want to go buy it... if I wasn't slightly strapped for cash right now I would.

I loved this movie. It was great to see that it doesn't matter who you are or what you stand for, you are always going to have to spin information your way to get people to listen. All sides do it.
