Does it really matter? We are going to spend our jack to see both movies anyway. Let's just hope "Mace" wears the patch over the correct eye and have a cigar that never falls out of his mouth no matter what he does.

Can we start listing his character as Ultimate Nick Fury...because he's not Nick Fury.....Bruce Willis should be Nick Fury.

Deal with it sammo21. Movies and comics are different mediums of expression; what works in comics won't always work in a film and vice versa. Does a Black Nick Fury bother you? Will calling him Ultimate Nick Fury make you feel better? I like the changes made in most of these movies cuz I don't want to wait months and months just to see the exact same story, the exact same way that I already have in my comics box. I didn't like the kid in Superman Returns, but I appreciate the twist in the story; I think Abomination looks great; and I didn't mind Spawn swapping out Chapel for that chick, Priest. Its a movie! Enjoy the show!!

How about calling him Nick 'Ultimate' Fury? Like it's his Nickname. "Ultimate? That's just what the ladies call me..."

I just hope he's not too hammy. Sam's great when he's on, but when he's allowed to be silly and phone it in, he can really half-ass things.

For the record: James Woods should be the regular continuity Fury. Yeah!

I think if Samuel Jackson is gonna be Nick Fury in one movie then he should be Nick Fury in both there are a few other people who i think could play Nick Fury Kurt Russell and Bruce Willis come to mind but the decision belongs with the people making the movies.
